The director of ASPN is Tim Hannan, who provides sport psychology services to individuals and teams in and around Sydney.

Tim Hannan is a clinical and sport psychologist who has been working with clients for 17 years. He is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Professional Psychology Programs at the University of Western Sydney, where he teaches in the areas of sport psychology, clinical psychology and neuropsychology.

Tim holds postgraduate qualifications in clinical psychology (University of Sydney), sport psychology (University of Western Sydney), clinical neuropsychology (Macquarie University), and cognitive science (University of NSW), and is currently completing doctoral studies.

Tim is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is the current NSW chair of the APS College of Sport Psychologists. He is also a member of the college’s national executive committee.

Tim is also a full member of the APS Colleges of Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Neuropsychologists, Forensic Psychologists and Educational & Developmental Psychologists. He is a former NSW Chair of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and a current member of the college's national committee. He is also a former National Chair of the APS College of Clinical Neuropsychologists and a former National Chair of the APS College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists.

Tim has lectured widely on clinical and sport psychology, and has presented over 100 workshops and seminars around Australia and overseas, including workshops at each of the past eight annual conferences of the APS.
